What kind of meat do you use?
We use pork and chicken from federally inspected establishments. We use 100% pork, and our chicken sausage is a blend of boneless skinless chicken breasts and thighs.
Are your products all natural?
Our products are all-natural. There are no preservatives of any kind used, and no artificial coloring.
Are your products gluten free?
Our fresh sausage is gluten free. Our cooked sausage and sausage patties contain some soy protein. Our meatballs have breadcrumbs in them.
What kind of casings do you use?
Our casings are natural hog casings.
Do you make a low fat product?
Yes, we make a variety of chicken sausages. The Chicken Classic Italian Sausage contains just 2.5 grams of fat. Our chicken sausage is a blend of boneless chicken breasts and thighs.
What does "fresh" mean?
Fresh means that the product is not cooked. It comes "fresh" to you from the manufacturing process.
What is the best way to cook the sausage?
•Fresh sausage links should be cooked over medium-low heat for approximately 7 minutes on each side.
•Sausage patties are not pre-cooked, and should be cooked over medium heat for approximately 4 minutes on each side.
•Cooked links are fully cooked, and just need to be heated and browned over medium heat for approximately 4 minutes on each side.
