I bought your eight pack of frozen pepper and onion sausage patties today. The meat-person at Tops on Niagara Falls Blvd recommended them. Unfortunately, upon opening the box,I found that the patties were freezer-burned. They were gray in color and covered in ice. I thought maybe they should have been placed in a tied freezer bag inside of the box,instead of just separated by the parchment paper. Hello, I have enjoyed your chicken with pepper and onion italian sausage for years. It is by far the best tasting sausage I have EVER eaten. I am also a nutrition conscious consumer and I enjoy the extremely low fat content that it offers. Plus...a whole sausage is just one weight watchers point! that is unheard of for sausage! Living in Rochester it isn't always easy for me to find. I have been buying it a case at a time from the Tops supermarket at greece Ridge plaza in Rochester. The meat dept. manager there has been trying to order it for me for the past month without success. Why have you stopped distributing to Rochester? With a little well placed advertising I think you have a gold mine on your hands here...I have been doing my best to introduce people to it and everyone who has tasted it loves it. JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes Fundraiser Our daughter, Michelle, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 10 on November 2, 2001. Here we are, two years later, and Michelle has received over 1,000 shots so far. She still must prick her fingers five to ten times a day to test her blood sugar, with over 6,000 holes in her little fingers so far. Michelle has an insulin pump attached to her body that continuously feeds her insulin. This insulin pump is her life support system - it is not a cure! We have decided to take an active role in finding that cure. We are having a fundraiser called "Blues for a Cure" consisting of Live Blues Music and a Chinese Auction on May 2nd at 2PM at the Lafayette Tap Room 391 Washington St. Buffalo, NY. We are raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Buffalo Area's Walk to Cure Diabetes. JDRF is the largest worldwide charitable organization dedicated to finding a cure for diabetes. All money collected from this event will be turned in at the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes on May 16th. You can help by donating something for this event. It can be anything- gift certificates, full baskets, items to put into a basket, grand prize items, etc. Everything donated will help! Diabetes is a monster that haunts us morning, noon, and night. It lurks over our shoulders as we eat, sleep, and play. It bites my daughter's fingers over three thousand times a year. I spoke with Michael on the phone on Saturday, Dec. 18 and found out about this site. Previously I had had relatives in Buffalo buy, freeze and ship sausage to us. I had discussed with Michael the Everything Buffalo site not knowing about this site. I wanted to purchase uncooked sausage for gifts for family, you see my husband was John Mineo's relative and always wanted Uncle John's sausage. Now our children feel the same way. I have tried to order from this web site since yesterday morning and have gone to different computers to be sure it was not my equipment. The order page will not come up at all. I can see everything else on the site but not the order page. Therefore I will order patties through Everything Buffalo in order to get my order in by Monday.
